Positioning & Comparable Films

'The Bridal Party' is a classic, romantic drama set in the jazz age of 1930's. Written by the much acclaimed celebrity writer, F. Scott Fitzgerald, it has mainstream marketability and is comparable to Fitzgerald movies like 'Tender is the Night', 'The Last Tycoon', and of course, 'The Great Gatsby', starring Robert Redford and Mia Farrow in 1974, and Leonado di Caprio and Carey Mulligan in 2013. Filled with nostalgic blues and cafe jazz tunes, it will also feature romantic love songs of that era (Gershwin and Cole Porter). Based on a real wedding in Paris 1930 held by his friend Powell Fowler, this is an 'American in Paris' story with a huge audience in U.S.A., France and will attract worldwide fans of Scott Fitzgerald. 'Gatsby' followers would love this movie too.
